Information About Our School

Our Teaching Method

Hear from our Principal, Elaine Lesiuk

On Our School Values...

Persistence

To persist means to keep trying when something is difficult, to believe in yourself and to keep going. For example: I tried to draw a rose, but it didn’t work, so I tried again and I was successful.

- Ashley, Yr2

Learning

Learning is important because I want to learn different things, so I can be a builder. I’m very self-motivated when I write a short story that hooks you in. I like to persevere when I’m getting distracted because it helps me to read.

- Archer, Yr3

Integrity

Integrity is not made from a question. It’s being true to yourself and your friend and family. If you lie it will turn to hate and that hate will flow back to you; it always does no matter what situation you’re in, it will hurt them when they find out and it will hurt you for telling the lie.

- Estephe, Yr5

Resillience

To be resilient means to keep going, move on if you fall, get back up, be strong, never give up. For example: I fell and grazed my knee, I wanted to cry but I didn’t. I got back up.

- Maya, Yr4

Respect

I show respect to people, other people’s things and the environment. I treat other people well. When people say “hi” to me, I say “hi” back. I keep my rubbish in my lunchbox because if it is left on the ground some of the ocean animals will die.

- Jackson, Yr1

Collaboration

Collaboration is when someone says, “Can I play with you?” and I say “Yes”. When someone has a toy that you want to play with you could say “How about we swap?”. This is collaborating.

- Emma, Foundation
